Summertime?!

Morning all from a very damp and dreich Glasgow. British Summertime tomorrow?! Pfft. Back to winter now.

This is a card I was asked to make for a friend's brother's birthday (well, this one is from her mum). This Stampendous champagne bottle stamp is fab and I keep forgetting I have it! I should really keep it to hand. I might need a lot of these cards in this next year.....

Make a card or other craft project using a Sugar Nellie image and this prize could be yours.

(remember the Sugar Nellie image - that's essential!)

And here's my card. This is a card I made for a friend's daughter's birthday in February. I love this wee image - Wonderful Day she's called. And I felt that the image called for using some of my favourite Boho Chic papers.

Moving Along With The Times Challenge

Morning all.

It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With the Times.

This week our theme, set by Hazel L, is

In The Wild

It's up to you how you interpret it - outside, wild animals, wild flowers.... the possibilities are endless.

I've gone for a wild animal. Well, he doesn't look particularly wild. Or even in the least bit angry. He looks quite happy really.

Ready, Teddy, Bake.

Hello.

If you've been celebrating then I hope you've had a lovely Mother's Day. It's always a tinged with a bit of sadness for me, I hate that I don't have a Mum to celebrate with but I love that I have the boys around to be able to celebrate with me. Even if they insist on watching Spongebob Squarepants.  However, one of my gifts was Postman Pat The Movie DVD so I'm looking forward to watching it after dinner (would have watched this afternoon but Scott is at rugby!) And yes, I really do like Postman Pat!

I have to share this with you, Craig baked a cake to sell at church for Comic Relief. He made £60.92! Isn't that incredible? So proud of him.

So, to today's card. Which, to be honest, is a bit of a disaster. I really loved it until I took it to work to deliver it to the girl who had ordered it. Then I noticed the mistake. Honestly, I could have wept. She (and nobody else at work) noticed, but I did and had I had enough time I would have taken it home and done it again.

A Cow. A Sheep. And A Balloon

Hello

Hope you've been enjoying your Saturday. I had great plans this afternoon to do a spot of crafting. Didn't seem to work though, although I did print the images off I wanted to work on so I suppose it's a start. And tomorrow is Mother's Day so I guess I could spend a certain amount of time doing something nice ;)

This is the card I made to say goodbye to our minister as she moved on.  I wanted something bright and cheerful and a little bit funny too.

Moving Along With The Times Challenge

Morning all.

It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With the Times.

This week our theme is

Three In A Row

You know the drill, pick three in a row, any row, be it horizontally, vertically or diagonally!

And here is my card. I've gone with die, image and gems or pearls (actually there is only one pearl and I'm not sure whether you can see it in the photo!) I've used the Nestie Sunflower die to make Wryn's headband and instead of stamping the sentiment on the card I die cut an oval and stamped on the inside of the card. You'll notice a bit of doodling too.... Fi would be proud of me.
